About

flightlog.openspotter.org is a private and noncomercial project by Christian Borchmann-Backhaus and makes no claim to completeness and correctness of the data used. The data used are from free sources available in the Internet.

Some years ago, I started my first ADS-B receiver at a Raspberry PI. My interest grew to know what aircraft were flying in front of my door. So I began to write a program to record the data, developed a data model, a backend and a frontend to visualize the data. Thanks to the large ADS-B community it is possible to lookup the ICAO24 codes to aircraft and airlines. My focus is on the airspace around Berlin (Germany). Many thanks to everyone who shared their ADS-B data and made this project possible.

The data that flightlog uses have been manualy compiled from the different sources. Thanks to my friends for sharing thier VirtualRadar station databases with me.
